You will play a crucial role in developing data-driven insights to guide our advice to clients and Sure’s future services. Role

The Research Manager is responsible for identifying data, trends and key stakeholders in the global financial services, fintech and capital markets. The role involves finding and validating raw data, developing actionable insights, and collaborating with colleagues to integrate this information into advisory and marketing activities. The role is ideal for someone with an understanding of finance and research who seeks to work in an innovative company on a flexible basis. Reports to CEO.

Responsibilities

Design and Implementation: Design research methodologies, select appropriate research tools, and oversee data collection and analysis.
Insights: Analyse markets which are relevant to Sure, including financial services, fintech, capital markets, country and company data. Identify key trends, risks and opportunities in the data.
Outputs: Liaise with colleagues to ensure insights are integrated into Sure’s advisory and marketing activities, including reports, presentations and infographics.
Data Management: Ensure the integrity of data and content through proper validation, structures, and management.
Product Development: Leverage your skills and experience to identify opportunities to enhance Sure’s products, value proposition and the sales cycle.

Requirements

Desired skills and experience include:

At least 2yrs experience in a research role, preferably in finance or financial services.
Strong understanding of research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and research ethics.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
Diligent in the analysis, planning and management of activities.
Experience with data management or business intelligence systems.

Desired interpersonal skills:

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Self-starter capable of working remotely.
Brings a can-do attitude, energy and creative solutions to challenges.
Motivated to grow skillset and experience.

Also desirable:

Additional language skills.
A university degree in research, data or a related field.
